Unboxing: Once Upon A Bookcase [May]

I’ve been so incredibly lucky and blessed to be chosen as a rep for Once Upon A Bookcase for the next three months! And I just received and unboxed my rep package. This was so FREAKING amazing and I’m dying to share it with you guys!

In case you don’t know what Once Upon A Bookcase is, it’s a monthly subscription box with a bookish phone case + 2-4 items with a matching theme. The June box’s theme is Four Sisters, and if you use the code AVI10 you’ll get 10% off on your first box! Their website is here+ if you want to go check them out.

This month’s theme was Paris & London, and that made me really excited because I couldn’t guess what that could be! (I like to be surprised)

I was so thrilled to find out that the phone case was inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities. The Phone case was in a beautiful beige color and light brown on the inside. It’s so beautifully made and the quality’s amazing!

On the inside of the phone case, there are three card slots (I guess that’s what they’re called?) and a black plastic case for the phone. The card slots surprised me, and I liked that they aren’t “endless”, haha. Have you ever tried having a wallet and you push your card into the card slot and it just disappears? Well, not with this phone case! There’s around 1 cm left of the card, just enough to easily pull it out again.

And the black plastic phone case is really soft and it’s incredibly easy to put your phone in and just as easy to take it out. That I liked, because I’ve had phone cases where the plastic is so hard, that it takes a lot of strength and time to pull the phone out again (and possible a few broken nails… hmpf.)

There was also a golden ‘World’ necklace, a Paris pillowcase and a card with a Charles Dickens quote on! I was so amazed by the fact that there was a pillowcase, that I gasped while unboxing it. I’m just glad that I was alone while doing it, haha!

All on in all, I loved this box and it’s made me crazy excited for next month’s box!
