January Wrap Up

January was a crazy reading month for me! I read a total of 9 books. NINE! And that is with a full time job and a toddler son. Three of the books were read as audio books but still, that means six physical books. Here are my ratings:

The Changeling’s Journey by Christine Spoor – 4.5 stars
Søvn og Torne by Neil Gaiman – 4 stars
The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding by Agatha Christie – 3 stars
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo – 5 stars
Very Good Lives by J. K. Rowling – 5 stars
The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie – 3 stars
Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo – 3 stars
Askeprinsen by Erin Watt – 1 star
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black – 4 stars

I really enjoyed most of the books, while there were some books that were a bit ‘meh’. My favorite books were The Changeling’s Journey, Very Good Lives (a re-read), Shadow and Bone and The Cruel Prince. I was a bit disappointed with the Agatha Christie books, but then again, they are usually a hit or a miss for me.

I will post individual reviews of some of the books later this week and the next.
What books did you read in January? And did you enjoy them?

What I’ve Read In 2017 – Part 1

Since we’re halfway through the year, I thought it’d be fun to do a “wrap-up” of what I’ve read so far.

I haven’t finished a book since… april I think, or I think Harry Potter was finished in May but that’s it. I am a little bit behind, in my own opinion, but according to Goodreads I am 1 book ahead of schedule! So that’s good, I suppose, haha. I am currently reading The Lost World by Michael Crichton and I am LOVING IT. I will make a Jurassic Park appreciation blog entry some time during this summer!Read More »
